Partnership Working

Multi-Agency Partnership working

The National Violence Against Women Network brings together workers from across Scotland who are involved in coordinating Violence Against Women Multi Agency Partnerships (MAPs) or Training Consortia.  Representation is also made from some national organisations and other associated national networks. The Network aims to support coordinators and key persons to drive forward the violence against women agenda in local authority areas and provide a forum which has links to national groups.

For more information about the contact person in your area, please contact Maureen Wylie, Network coordinator.

Bystander Programme

Working alongside LGBT Youth, Rape Crisis Scotland, White Ribbon Scotland and Zero Tolerance, we are co-ordinating Scotland's first bystander programme aimed at higher and further education students. This piece of work has involved consultation with agencies such as YWCA, SACRO, NUS Scotland and more recently EUSA. We will be piloting this programme in late January 2011.

For more information contact Ellie Hutchinson, Prevention Worker.
