Scottish Women’s Aid Launches Christmas Campaign

"They had nothing”

Tracy arrived on the doorstep of Glasgow East Women’s Aid late on the 23rd of December accompanied by her six year old son, Jack. Her violent husband had thrown both mother and child out of the house. Tracy and Jack were terrified, distressed and very traumatised. They had nothing; no change of clothes, no personal belongings – Jack had not even been allowed to take his toothbrush.
