Development (study) days have been designed for those involved in providing domestic abuse and violence against women training. They offer an opportunity for trainers to consider relevant and up-to-date theories, research and discourse on key issues with a view to providing a solid foundation and essential building blocks for ongoing training provision.
Those attending the development days must have an in-depth understanding of the causes, dynamics and impacts of domestic abuse. Attendance at a ‘Why a Gender Based Analysis?’ session is highly recommended as a starting point for attending other development days.
